Experiences
Design & Engineering at TALtech
2021 - Present

Wide-ranging part-time role at a family-run B2B software company (users: 3M, EPA, Lilly); expanded sales and support work with design, video, and engineering.

  • Architected a relational Next.js + Supabase system to replace a legacy Access customer database of 40k+ records; outside vendors had quoted $25–60k for the project. Designed data model unifying customer & operational logic over 30 years of mixed conventions, speeding lookups & unblocking automation, with new APIs keeping legacy systems live.
  • Replatformed customer support docs from WordPress to Mintlify with a custom Firecrawl + Python pipeline, making the content easy to edit with AI and discoverable for AEO.
  • Streamlined marketing website from 700+ to ~200 core pages, leading information architecture and visual refinement.
  • Designed a component-system concept for the flagship workflow builder, unifying 40+ serial-device configuration options into a single progressive-disclosure flow modeled on native Windows patterns.
  • Reduced recurring setup questions ~30% with a walkthrough video series that replaced 90s-era documentation.
Designer and Developer at Foundation Studio
2023 - 2024
  • Designed pitch decks for 3 pre-seed startups (Techstars), sharpening positioning and competitive differentiation.
  • Built a React/Next.js config generator for an LLM interview chatbot, cutting setup errors for screening flows.
Projects
Portfolio site
2024 - Ongoing
  • Designed and built a personal portfolio site with filtered views by medium and category, shareable via URL state.
  • Built motion details across the site: scroll-driven card stacking with iOS notification physics, shader-driven hero, layout-animated selection indicators, timing and layering specced frame-by-frame from annotated reference videos.
  • Consolidated content + media to MDX in repo + Cloudflare R2 (was Sanity CMS + Cloudinary): simplified stack so content edits ship with code, agents can read and edit directly.
AI context infrastructure
2022 - Ongoing
  • Published 30+ agent skills (packaged instructions for AI tools) to the Vercel registry, crossing 2,000 installs unpromoted.
  • Structured a 5,400+ note Obsidian vault for agent access: typed metadata, live dashboards, hybrid semantic search, and recent-context injection at session start.
  • Built an OAuth 2.1 server for remote AI access to a headless Obsidian vault, with concurrency-safe section edits across multiple agents.
  • Built and operate a personal server stack running the vault, a persistent Claude Code agent, a clipper service, and self-built MCP servers accessed via Tailscale and Cloudflare Zero Trust SSO.
Skills
  • Engineering: Javascript/TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind, Astro, Bun, Supabase, Framer Motion, Cloudflare (Workers, R2, Zero Trust), Vercel, Docker, AI agent architecture (skills, context engineering, memory, MCP servers), Claude Code
  • UX, Design, Content: Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Final Cut, Affinity, UI, Design systems, Visual design, Branding, Typography, Information architecture, Prototyping, CSS animation, Accessibility (ARIA, keyboard handling), Video editing
Education
Venture for America Fellowship (now Ember Fellowship)
2023 - 2024
  • Selected for national entrepreneurship fellowship (10% acceptance); workshops with McKinsey, IDEO, Frog Design. Led 5-person team to Judge Pick + Crowd Favorite in 3-day sprint, designing and pitching a city exploration app.
Web development foundations (The Odin Project) + Animations on the Web (Emil Kowalski)
2022 - 2024
Wesleyan University - B.A. in Film Studies, Minor in Integrated Design and Engineering
2016 - 2020
  • 3.71 GPA; Honors, Dean's List; Frank Capra Prize for excellence in cinematic filmmaking, humor, and pathos
  • Led team to first place in Bethesda-founder-led game-dev intensive: shipped iOS demo, designed level structure and UI, pitched to AFI / Warner Bros. Games / Demiurge industry jury.
